My srikaya tree
I have many srikaya trees in my garden. Srikaya comes from the west Indies which bear fruit after about 4 years old. Srikaya or sugar-apple with its flesh is white and has sweet taste, while the ripe seeds are black. Sugar-apple can be used as a drug, the fruits, the leaves, root, bak and seeds.
Srikaya contains antioxidants and vitamin C. The fruits are commonly used as jam in the bread.
